The drive over the rivers and through the woods to Durango is beautiful, we were happy to have dry roads and pretty scenery for our Thanksgiving trip.
As the sun set so did the temperatures, it was well below 0. We were all in need of food and a little break and stopped in a tiny town with a Subway in the gas station (we were grateful)!
(I just had to document that Caden is quite possibly the messiest eater alive). I'm pretty sure our little family looked homeless rolling into this gas station.
We were so excited to get to Durango! We had a great time with Clark's parents. My boys love their Grandpa and Grandma and were so excited to see them.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Jay and Lucy's house. It was such a fun day! Ethan had so much fun playing with his cousins, especially Henry (his best buddy cousin). I hardly saw him all day. On Thanksgiving night I ran to Walmart with my nieces Erin and Delanie for a little Black Friday shopping...it was so much fun! We laughed a lot, especially when Delanie bought some footie pajamas and wore them out of the store. Fun girls!
Throughout the weekend we saw the movie Frozen (and loved it), went to a nice dinner with Clark's parents and all of his brothers and spouses (loved it), took our boys to see the train come into the station (loved that too), watched a lot of football games (most loved that), played games (love to be the Great Dalmudi), and just had a great time relaxing and having fun with family.
So very much to be thankful for!
