Thanksgiving

Well Grammy and Grandpa drove over the river, through the woods and over several snowy mountain passes to join us in Greeley for Thanksgiving week!  What a fun time!  On Tuesday they got to go eat lunch with Ethan at school.  Then they decided to get a quick car wash.  It was all fun and games until he turned the power hose over to Caden!  It was a little out of control for the four year old helper and Grandpa ended up with a cold shower! 

 That afternoon we got to see Big Hero 6.

On Wednesday we had a fun day swimming at the Fuxplex waiting for Weston, Erica and Scarlett to join us.  They came Wednesday night just in time to celebrate Westy's birthday with ice cream cake, and a trip to the Hunger Games movie.

Thursday was a perfect Thanksgiving Day.  With 3 of us girls cooking in the kitchen it was a fun day!  And a busy day, so busy the girls didn't have time to get ready before our fancy feast...but it still tasted good.  We broke Christmas crackers after lunch.

 That night while the boys were resting after their busy day of us cooking we hit the big sales!

Of course the magic suitcase also came with Grammy!  Every time it came out Scarlett knew it was time for a treat and would sit down and wait patiently for her surprise, it was so cute!

Lots of 25 cent clearance Halloween costumes made the suitcase this year!

On Saturday the Clark, Weston and my Dad went to the Colorado vs. U of U football game.  That night we all got to attend the Light the Night parade and Festival of Trees.

Can you tell which brother had the stomach flu?

I promise the kids really were as excited as Grammy for the parade, despite their  expressions in this photo!
